OFFICIAL UIBE LAUNCH

UJAMAA INITIATIVE FOR BLACK ENTREPRENEURSHIP provides Montreal’s Black English-speaking entrepreneurs with access to resources, education & support. We are building a community of like-minded individuals striving towards financial independence and prosperity.

For the official re-launch of the initiative, it was important for us to highlight entrepreneurs who were thriving in their respective fields and demonstrated what things look like when we build our own and support one another.

The event featured:

  • An introduction to the UIBE, CDNBCA, and its partners.

  • A photo exhibit by YOYO x NASKADEMINI focused on empowering black entrepreneurs and demonstrating that black hair will always be professional; especially in spaces and businesses built by us.

  • A conversation moderated by Freddy Lloyd introducing the entrepreneurs featured in the photo series.

The vibe was set by KIDCRAYOLA / TAIMA . Catering by Woushhh.

October 5th at the IF THESE WALLS COULD TALK gallery, from 6PM-9:30PM.
